Environment education

An environment is a complex and wide a phenomenon .Human beings perform their various activities in an environment . Environment also includes the physical ,social and cultural activities of human beings while performing their activities ,human beings use the resources of environment in one away or anther some activities of human beings helps to protect and conserve the environment education is to develop the concepts ,skill and knowledge in human beings about any aspects of environment and its status ,importance ,usefulness ,protection and preservation .As the environment comprise various aspects ,environment education also incorporates many aspects and components . Environment education teaches us to keep the surrounding clean .Everyone needs neat and clean environment for healthy life . Environment education teaches about the surrounding around us and creates awareness to keeps the Environment clean . Environment education helps in understanding the surrounding and helps to improve and to keep it in good condition.
Environment education makes us aware of the consequences resulting from the interaction of man with natures and man made environment . It also makes us aware of the consequences resulting from its interaction with biological ,physical, social ,economic and cultural traction . Besides ,it provides skill morality and knowledge to bear the responsibility to solve the environmental problems ,to manage and maintain its qualities through various activities .Thus environment education develops useful knowledge ,skill and concepts of all natural surrounding ,human beings, biology things along with cultural ,social, economic and moral aspects .

Atmosphere is the main source of nitrogen .Due to various processes ,it is available to the plants and animals .Due to the high temperature released during lighting , nitrogen and oxygen of Atmosphere combine together to form nitrous oxide and nitric oxide .These oxides of nitrogen dissolve in rain water and formation of nitrous and nitric acid take palace .When these acids come down to the earth ,they react with different salts present in the soil and nitrates are formed .Similarly ,Nitrogen fixing bacteria convert the Atmosphere nitrogen to nitrate Nitrogen cycle azotobactek ,Alostridium ,Rhradosprillium etc . are some examples of nitrogen fixing bacteria . The bodies of plants and animals contain plenty of protein .After the death of plants and animals , fungi and bacteria start to decompose the protein found in these dead bodies ,ammonia gas is formed . This process is called ammonofication .With help of nitrifying bacteria ,these salts and nitrate bacteria ,these salts and compounds will be converted into nitrate bacteria are two types of nitrifying bacteria. Thus the process of converting ammonia or ammonium compounds to available formed nitrate by nitrification .The nitrogen thus released is mixed in the Atmosphere Plants absorb required amount of nitrogen by their roots . After absorbing nitrate ,plants convert it into ammonia .The nitrogen released in this process is mixed to the Atmosphere .A kind of free living bacteria is found in the soil ,which is known as denitrifying .These bacteria action the soil nitrate converting it in to nitrogen nitrous oxide ,ammonia ,oxygen etc. This process is known as denitrification. In this way , the nitrogen cycle is maintained in nature .

Oxygen is one of the important gases found ion the atmosphere .It can be found in the form of compound of oxide ,carbonate and water in natural . Respiration and photosynthesis play an important role in order to maintain the oxygen cycle in nature . Human being ,plants and other animals get oxygen from water and release out carbon dioxide .Plants prepare their food through the photosynthesis process in they absorb dioxide from the air and release oxygen which ix mixed to the atmosphere .Thus photosynthesis process also helps to conduct Oxygen cyclethe oxygen.
Oxygen is vital to us in many ways (beside the most obvious--for breathing). Water can dissolve oxygen and it is this dissolved oxygen that supports aquatic life. Oxygen is also needed for the decomposition of organic waste. Wastes from living organisms are "biodegradable" because there are aerobic bacteria that convert organic waste materials into stable inorganic materials. If enough oxygen is not available for these bacteria, for example, because of enormous quantities of wastes in a body of water, they die and anaerobic bacteria that do not need oxygen take over. These bacteria change waste material into H2S and other poisonous and foul-smelling substances. For this reason, the content of biodegradable substances in waste waters is expressed by a special index called "biological oxygen demand" (BOD), representing the amount of oxygen needed by aerobic bacteria to decompose the waste.

complex series of processes through which all of the carbon atoms in existence rotate is the carbon. The great natural recycler of carbon atoms is called carbon cycle.every aspect of life could be changed dramatically without the proper functioning of the carbon cycle. carbon can also be found in living beings and plants in the farm of compounds of protein ,carbohydrate and other complex compounds .
Plants utilize the carbon dioxide found in atmosphere while preparing their food through the photosynthesis process .The carbon dioxide gas received by the plants again returns to the atmosphere through one way or the other .Some Carbon cycleplants are eaten by animals whereas some plants and animals die themselves .Dead plants, animals and decayed materials are decomposed and mixed to the soil for which decomposes are responsible .Carbon dioxide gas is released and mixed to the atmosphere.
coal and other petroleum products will be formed after the deposition of plants and other wooden materials in the inner surface of the earth for many years .They can be used as fuel for domestic propose ,industries ,factories, vechicles etc . Smoke is released after the combustion of fuel ,which contains carbon dioxide . Thus carbon dioxide is released from different processes in the maintained in nature by continuous exchange of carbon dioxide between organism atmosphere .

Water is essential for all living beings. Water affect the structure ,situation and working mechanisms of the ecological system . land surface and underground water source are important in order to maintain the water cycle .
Solar energy affect the various process of water flow in the nature .Evaporation takes place from rivers ,pond, lake ,tea,Himalayas etc.Due to the solar energy water level of pond ,lake, sea is decreased in winter due to evaporation .
Underground water is absorbed by the plants .Water is lost from plants through the stomata of leaves in the transpiration process and mixes into the atmosphere .On this way the water used by plants is continuously vaporized in nature .SimilarlyWater cycle animals also take water in the form of food .The water taken in this way is thrown out in the environment in the forms of Verina sweat .The minute water droplets thrown in the atmosphere again combine with each other and form cloud .Small droplets of water in the cloud combine which fall on the earth form of rain .Major part of the rain water flows into the river ,streams ,lake, sea, ponds etc. Water in the forms of snow ,hail, frost etc . starts to melt and gradually converted into liquid due to solar energy .The water found on the earth surface also enters into the underground through the porous parts or holes of low lying area in thew form of natural springs . Evaporation again takes place from different sources of water and goes to the atmosphere . Thus water cycle is maintained in nature .Water cycle is necessary in order to maintain the ecosystem in nature . Activities like deforestation decreasing dry land ,increasing residential area in lowland marshy area in lowland marshy places ,land filling work on marshy places and similar other activities effect . It also hampers to maintain the ecosystem.

The surface of land is not same in all places .Due to the different physical structures found on the land ,there is diversity on the surface of land .Depending on the environment of desert ,forest , grassland etc.there is diversity in abiotic and biotic factors. In each and every palace ,there is close interrelation between biotic and abiotic factors .A grassland ecosystem can be taken as an examples .
Grassland ecosystem : flowing abiotic and biotic factors are found in a grassland ecosystem .
Abiotic factors : soil ,stones , decayed plant materials ,light ,heat, moisture etc are the abiotic factors of the grass land ecosystem .
Biotic factors : Green plants and living creature found in grassland are biotic factors .As in pond ecosystem ,these factors can be classified into three groups .These are producers, consumers and decomposes . Terrestrial ecosystemWeed and other plants of grassland are producers .Animals like earthworm ,insects ,mouse ,rabbit, deer, goat ,monkey ....etc . Which feed on green plants in order to survive are the examples of primary consumers .Animals like jackal ,wolf, frog, snake and birds etc.Which depend on primary consumers for food are secondary consumers where as physically strong carnivorous .Animals like lizard, jackal, tiger, leopard , lion ,vulture etc are tertiary consumers. After the death of producers and consumers micro organisms like bacteria and fungi decompose their dead bodies and mix them into soil The green plants again absorb the nutrients from soil. This close interrelationship between biotic and abiotic factors is maintained in grassland and the ecosystem in continued .

That ecosystem which runs in a place containing water is known as aquatic ecosystem . The structure and condition of different water source are different . Various types of plants and animals can be found in water depending upon its exiting condition . In this way ,there is also a close interrelationship between biotic and abiotic factors in water .Pond ecosystem can be taken an example .
pond ecosystem : Following biotic and abiotic factors are in pond ecosystem.
Abiotic factors: in pond abiotic factors include minerals ,water ,air, soil, light, heat, organic as well as inorganic materials .
Biotic factors : Green plants as well as other organisms are the biotic factors of the pond . These biotic factors can be classified into there groups producer , consumer and decomposes. Aquatic plants like algae, volvox, closterium, hydrilla etc . are the producer of the pond small fish, tadepole larve ,earth worms and other small animals which depend on plants for their food are primary consumers. Similarly animals like snakes, heron which feed on secondary consumers are tertiary consumers. After the death of consumers and producers decomposes like bacteria ,fungi as well as other micro organism decompose the dead bodies mix them into soil .These decomposed materials again become the source of nutrients for the producer. In this away ,this process goes on and pond ecosystem maintained .
